MOTOSHOP Technology Tools Rolls Out Enhancements to MotoLOGIC Repair & Diagnostics, Adds 2014 Manufacturer Data to Leading Repair and Diagnostics Tool
ROANOKE, Va. (May 8, 2014) – MOTOSHOPSM Technology Tools announced a recent update to MotoLOGIC® Repair & Diagnostics, a Web-based tool for automotive technicians. MotoLOGIC now includes OE repair and diagnostic information through model year 2014 vehicles from the following major manufacturers:
- Chrysler vehicles, including Dodge, Jeep and Fiat
- All General Motors vehicles, including Buick, Chevrolet and GMC
- Ford vehicles including Lincoln
- Honda vehicles including Acura
In addition to its updated OE information for model year 2014 vehicles, MotoLOGIC now has auto-complete functionality for its search capabilities and an expansion within the QuickSpecs feature. MotoLOGIC is available from MOTOSHOP Technology Tools, a product portfolio from Advance Auto Parts, Inc. (NYSE: AAP), the largest automotive aftermarket parts provider in North America.
“Commercial garages need efficient and easily accessible repair and diagnostics information to stay competitive,” said Walter Scott, Vice President of eCommerce and eServices for Advance Auto Parts. “We continue to add new, unedited OE data that no other diagnostics platform offers. 2014 model information for Honda is one great example of that, and we are excited about how MotoLOGIC’s expanded functionality will help technicians.”
Launched in 2012, MotoLOGIC offers unedited OE content for most major manufacturers, and also supports enhanced color wiring diagrams and the preservation of OEM-specific features and functionality, such as electrical flow diagrams. An advanced search function, including the recent addition of auto-complete suggestions, delivers instant results based on virtually any criteria: sounds, smells, OBD-II codes or components.
QuickSpecs allow fast access to the most commonly used specifications for most vehicles, making navigating MotoLOGIC simple. The recent update added QuickSpecs for most vehicles through model year 2013. In just two years, MotoLOGIC’s content has more than doubled to 21 million unique articles. A dedicated ASE support staff is available at 855-770-MOTO (6686) or motologic.com for any customer that cannot locate the information they need.
